The K/1/2 classroom in Ogema School has been learning about needs and wants in Social Studies class. We discussed that others sometimes struggle to have their needs met. After this discussion the students chose to find ways to help those in need. They made the decision to collect items and donate them to the Family Place in Weyburn. To celebrate our end to the donation drive our class went “on location” to collect last minute donations within the community.  We were beyond grateful for the support our community gave us in our donation drive for the Family Place! It was such a successful and impactful learning experience for the students!
